Reliable Garden Services ACT is a family owned and run business. I'm Simon, the dad of the family and head gardener/manager of Reliable Garden Services ACT. I named the business Reliable Garden Services ACT because that is how I live, I always aim to do what I say and always aim to be on time. After hearing many stories about gardeners letting their clients down, I knew the word reliable needed to be in the name describing the business. Prior to gaining the experience I now have in gardens I worked in construction, auto electrical and hospitality, all adding to the professional service you receive being a client of Reliable Garden Services ACT. My lovely wife Katy, also has a very strong work ethic. Pronounced cat-e (meow meow), Katy is the backbone of the business providing me with a significant amount of support by working with me to ensure we are consistently on top of all of the non-gardening requirements such as finances, equipment, legislative requirements and all of the insurances. You can feel assured that our two young children do not contribute in such a way, playing their part by providing much love and support, the way kids do.

Since commencing Reliable Garden Services ACT in 2009 working alone, I have always worked very hard to achieve what clients want. My experience in hospitality resulted with me recognising my natural affinity in communicating with people. As a client, you will be treated with respect and always heard. If required, I encourage discussion about your goals to be sure we are both on the same page. 

The best staff. In providing great service, great work, at a great price, Reliable Garden Services ACT has grown. To continue to achieve a very high level of customer satisfaction we know it is essential to only employ the best staff. We aim to employ the best staff by finding staff who have sound knowledge of lawns and gardens, work with enthusiasm, have an eye for detail and have good communication skills. Staff are all highly skilled in each aspect of lawn and garden services we provide. Staff retention is high at Reliable Garden Services ACT and this is achieved through treating them well with good conditions, generous pay and an open, accepting atmosphere.

We know gardens. Although I am not a horticulturist, I have studied horticulture and continue to learn as much as I can at any opportunity. Lennon and Levi, the gardeners working with Reliable Garden Services ACT are also very keen to learn what they can and whenever they come across something they are unsure of they are very proactive in asking questions, answers for which I am happy to provide.

You're the boss. Using the knowledge we have gained from our extensive experience working in gardens, we are more than happy to provide advise and suggestions as required. However, people are all different and therefore there is a big difference between what they want and expect. Knowing this we always hope to get a good understanding of what is required and what our client expects.

Communication. To ensure you get what you want from the service we provide we aim to communicate with you as best possible, asking many questions and listening to what is required. This happens, not only before but during and we walk through the work when completed to be sure you are satisfied.
